This Privacy Policy explains how StoryForge ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and website. By using StoryForge, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided).
• Content you generate: the prompts you submit and the content StoryForge generates for you, which is saved to your account history so you can revisit or favorite it.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as app version, device type, and how many generations you've used, so we can enforce free-plan limits and improve the app.
• Payment references: if you upgrade to a paid plan, we store the transaction reference needed to verify your payment. We do not store your wallet's private keys or full payment credentials.

2. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account, and keep your generation history in sync across devices.
• To operate core features, including sending your prompts to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) to generate content.
• To verify your email address and secure your account.
• To enforce free-tier usage limits and manage subscription status.
• To respond to support requests sent to us by email or Telegram.

3. Third-party services

StoryForge relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Firebase (Google): authentication, cloud storage of your account data and content history.
• Google Gemini API: processes the prompts you submit to generate AI content. Prompts are sent to Google's servers for processing.
• Google Sign-In: used as an optional, faster way to create and access your account.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies, in addition to this one.

4. Data storage and security

Your account data and content history are stored securely using Firebase's cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Your choices

• You can edit your display name and profile avatar at any time from within the app.
• You can delete individual items from your generation history and favorites.
• You can request account deletion by contacting us — see the Contact section below.

6. Children's privacy

StoryForge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
